Personal information provided by employees to MITRA to avail MITRA services shall not be used for any other purposes except for the purposes hereunder. The MITRA mobile application uses GPS and GPRS data to track the registered employee's and their spouses mobile only when an 'SOS' alert is activated. It is strongly advised, that the alert should be cancelled as soon as the emergency is resolved. Even otherwise, on intimation of resolution of emergency, the MITRA team would 'close' the alert by which they would stop receiving the coordinates of the particular mobile. Due care and extensive testing has been done prior to the launch of MITRA services, and shall continue to be done on an ongoing basis, to ensure that except for the user holding the device with MITRA application, no one else can activate the 'tracking mode' remotely. |
