The safety and security of an employee is of paramount importance to us. In these troubled times, it is important for you to know that Mahindra cares for you and your loved ones. MITRA service is designed to provide in time assistance to Mahindra Group employees and their spouses who enrol in the programme, whether they are at home, office or on road within the geographical limits to which this service extends.

This is a voluntary initiative by Mahindra where an employee and her/his spouse may choose to register if she / he wishes to. Registered employees and their spouses may seek MITRA assistance in case of:

  • Medical Emergency
  • Crime / Assault
  • Accident
  • Vehicle Break-down
  • Police liaison requirements

In a phased roll-out, MITRA services have been first offered to employees at Corporate Centre and then to other employees operating at Mahindra Towers, Worli, Mumbai and subsequently to Group employees based in Mumbai region. The MITRA services have now been extended to cover the spouse of a registered employee of Corporate Centre and will be offered to willing Group companies.

MITRA services are available within the geographical limits of Mumbai & Navi Mumbai i.e. from Churchgate to Mira Road, CST to Thane city and Navi Mumbai. Additionally, vehicle related services are available on Mumbai-Pune and Mumbai-Nashik highways.

The necessary infrastructure for making MITRA operational are maintained by Corporate Infrastructure & Services (CIS). The actual cost of specific assistance provided by external service providers will be recovered from registered employees and their spouses at actual as set out under scope of services.

ALL ASSISTANCE WOULD BE WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE LAW OF THE LAND.

For the sake of clarity, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited ("Mahindra"), its group companies (hereinafter, 'Mahindra Group' shall refer to both Mahindra and its group companies), MITRA, and the service providers engaged by MITRA shall not be responsible for making any payment towards admission formalities in the hospital. MITRA and the service providers shall also not be responsible for any damage or loss of property / belongings / vehicle etc as they work during the rescue attempt / mission.

MITRA is an employee engagement initiative by CIS department of Mahindra and shall not be construed as a matter of right or a perquisite available to the employee by virtue of employment with any of the entities within the Mahindra Group. The services may be discontinued at any time by MITRA/ Mahindra with reasonable notice to registered employees. For the sake of clarity, any issuance of such notice to a registered employee shall be deemed to be a notice to the spouse of such registered employee.
